
Mine Runner
A downloadable game for Windows
This is a prototype I developed attempting to combine 2D elements across different layers to provide an isometric perspective.
The project was developed in Unreal Engine, with the camera being attached to the moving player sprite. The level is composed of a single tile-map that acts as a track for the player to navigate until they collide with an obstacle (i.e. falling in the river).
This project provided some insight into optimization, as the tile-map can be better constructed to require less resources to display. Future projects would see the track implemented as a single baked object, rather than a tile-map.
